We hate having this conservation, but unfortunately it’s time to face the music.

We've really tried our best to keep our prices the same, but sadly it’s with a heavy heart that we have to announce that starting February 8th, 2023 our prices have to go up. 

Now we fully understand that for many this is unwelcome news, and with affordability as an important value, this news affects us too. Jimmy Joy has been independently owned by its employees since 2014, and we invest everything we make right back into the company without external funding. This also means we can’t afford to operate at a loss.

Of course, we will still have full focus on the future and the promises we’ve made to you:

Why the prices are changing

There’s no way to sugarcoat it: due to the rising costs of running our business – mainly caused by a global price increase of suppliers fueled by political, socioeconomic reasons and inflation – we're left with no other option but to increase the prices of our meals in 2023.

We were hoping that throughout 2022 global trade would stabilize. Turns out that with the rising energy, manufacturing and supplier prices,  it’s only gotten worse. Unfortunately we are not able to cover our expenses and keep our operations running with the current prices.

Because we highly value transparency at Jimmy Joy, we would like to share some numbers* to give you an idea of the impact these rising prices have on our business.

The above pricing will go into effect on the 8th of February 2023.  

 

What happens if you have a subscription

If you have a Jimmy Joy subscription scheduled for shipment between now and 7th of February, you’ll get the current prices.

If you have a Jimmy Joy subscription scheduled for shipment on or after the 8th of February, you’ll get the new prices. 

The price change happens automatically, so you won’t have to do or change a thing.

If you decide not to continue your subscription with us because of these new prices we completely understand. It ain't easy but it's only love - our hearts will heal over time.
