🔍 What We're Looking For

We're seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to craft short-form content and ads for social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels, etc.). Your work will directly impact campaign performance, so results matter.

You should be part editor, part strategist, and 100% obsessed with value adding content.

🧠 Who You Are

You think in hooks and CTA placement, not just transitions and B-roll.
You understand the nuance between content that entertains, content that sells, and content that converts.
You’re deeply familiar with platform-specific conventions (3s rule, pattern interrupts, native text styles, meme formats).
You’re comfortable editing both UGC-style content and high-fidelity motion design, depending on the goal.
You have strong opinions on pacing, copy, and why 90% of brand videos don’t work.

🛠️ Requirements

Must-haves:

Portfolio showcasing high-performing ads or viral content
Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro; After Effects a strong plus
Ability to repurpose raw footage into multiple cutdowns/formats
Fluent in current social trends, meme culture, and storytelling frameworks
Able to work from a creative brief or raw intuition
Capable of rapid iteration, split-testing concepts, and using performance data to improve output

Bonus if you:

Have experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands
Know how to script and storyboard in collaboration with media buyers or creative strategists
Can use AI tools to speed up workflow without losing quality

🧪 What You’ll Be Doing

Editing high-conversion ad creatives from raw UGC, motion graphics, and voiceovers
Creating engaging short-form social content: reels, TikToks, memes, highlight reels, etc.
A/B testing creative versions and optimizing based on real performance data
Collaborating with copywriters, growth marketers, and paid media teams
Turning unsexy raw footage into thumb-stopping edits
